Smartphones Ruin Sleep Cycle and Vision

The sun naturally emits blue light, exposing us on a daily basis. Smartphones, LED screens, tablets and other electronic devices also emit blue light. At nighttime, exposure to that light disrupts our sleep patterns, damages our vision and causes other health problems. It suppresses the body’s melatonin production, throwing off our sleep cycle.

For a good night’s sleep, it’s recommended to avoid checking smartphones and other personal electronic devices at least an hour before going to bed.
